I'd guess the ecclesiastical endorsement requirement is a big part of the picture--although I guess even for that, you wouldn't have to go every week. Self selection, maybe haha? If you're the kind of person who chooses to go to BYU maybe you're the kind of person who chooses to go to church each week?
Ya this makes sense to me. I would love to compare this with BYU-I or BYU-H data to see if all the BYUs are the same. But, ya I'm sure it has a lot to do with self-selection.
