Meta Data On Mormon Metrics And My 5 Favorite Posts This Past Year
Happy 1 Year 🙂
Introduction
To celebrate 1 year of Mormon Metrics, I thought I would share some meta data on Mormon metrics and link a few of my favorite posts this last year. And, stay tuned… I have exciting ideas planned for the future of Mormon Metrics that I will reveal at a later time!
By the way, I have a 4 question survey at the end of the article that I would really appreciate participation in. I would love for Mormon Metrics to be interesting and valuable for people, so please let me know what you like and how I can improve 🙂
Meta Data On Mormon Metrics
In the past year…
We have organically grown from 0 to 350+ subscribers. Also, happy to report that my first two subscribers - my mother and my wife - are still active readers (big accomplishment). Among the subscribers are lawyers, academics, data scientists, software developers, journalists, government and nonprofit workers, and church headquarters employees.
The past few months we’ve averaged about 3000 website monthly views and the emails have around a 60%-70% email open rate, indicating a highly engaged audience.
We have readership in 32 states and 13 countries. Mostly concentrated in the western US and the DMV area.
Also, the Mormon Metrics instagram account has grown from 0 to 3000+ followers. I know this is a big accomplishment since I ran the SQL query to find the answer 😂 (as a data scientist at Meta) - only a small number of creator accounts make it to 3000 or more followers.
On instagram, Mormon Metrics has garnered 100,000+ unique account views of reels and the profile in only the past 90 days.

Personal Reflection
I have had a lot of fun this last year and learned so much.
Besides the things I learned, my favorite part about Mormon Metrics is all of the people I have had the opportunity to meet. My articles have spurred meeting many interesting and amazing individuals and emailing even more. I hope I continue to meet people in the future and connect with others as this is something important to me.
With all of that said, I want to end with saying…I sincerely and deeply appreciate your readership and support. I am excited to make more charts and analyze more data this coming year and I hope you will join me. Thanks for a great year! 🥂
Please follow this link and complete the 4 question survey. I want to hear from you. Tell me what you like about Mormon Metrics and ideas for improvement.
